"I'll bloody kill you first!"

Following what Co'Hill said..

To Morgan, Sam, and Aantuaan: I'm so glad that you are now part of the Patriot Players. It's not just a club for me, it's a family *as cliche as that sounds. I've been with it since my freshman year and I would never trade our family for anything in the world. Is it stressful? YES. Is it fun? YES. Is Hill obnoxious? (..get the pattern yet?) I introduce it this way to say.. I don't think I could ever express how much it means to me. And now how much you guys mean to me. You're now part of the family.. honor it, love it, embrace it. 'Cause believe me we'll love you, embrace you, and possibly touch you. (..yeah. you're in theatre now.. :] get used to it) Also, welcome to the world of Hill. He likes to post strange pictures of people on public websites and things like that. But, trust him. I GUESS he's pretty good at what he does.

The show..

I'm too excited. When I heard that we were doing a show about the Holocaust, I was honestly not thrilled. BUT.. the way the cast read it this afternoon made the words and the story jump off the page, no joke. NOT WHAT I EXPECTED. If the script made this much of an impact on us the first read through, I can't wait to see what effect it's going to have at competition *but, not necessarily at Westover performances.. you know what I mean. Again, too excited.

My girls..

Yeah, I'm calling you (Samantha, Julia, Lizz, Morgan) my girls now. Why? I'm not a "mushy" person.. I don't know if that makes sense. Anyways, the show is centered around the female relationships, mother-daughter bonds. I don't know you all that well, and I am really interested in "bonding" with you. I know it's acting, but some things can't be forced. Especially because I consider myself a method actor, I need to feel, understand, and research what I am portraying. As stupid as bonding with each other sounds, I would really like to spend some time with you. Anyone up for it? Hill - what do you think?

I guess what I'm trying to express is my passion for this show. It's my senior competition show and I want to really go out with a bang. If any show or cast can allow me to do that, I'm glad it's the Westover Patriot Players' 2008 Competition piece, Kindertransport.

(How's that for cheese?)

I ABSOULUTLY AGREE! Abby is right girls we need to get together and really know each other if we are ever going to be able to pull off mother daughter relationships! I don't think I've ever been so moved and excited at a read through! It can only grow from here. But its gonna take work and commiment to the show and to your fellow cast/family. I promise (from experiance) whatever you give will be returned tenfold...and then some! Gah I'm excited about this one. I really loved the script Co' Hill! (Even if we are about to slaughter its content)

Key word is content, Lizz, and you are right. Thank you for noticing that literary value that the script contains. It saddens me to know that the script must be cut in order to compete with it because the language really is beautiful.

I agree. We need to be a family on set and in real life.
