Registration

Okay so I am trying to register and pay for GTC, but the "Pay Now" button is not working. I've tried refreshing the page and going back and everything and it's not my computer, either. Also, what do I need to do since I'm auditioning and going with and organization. I know you emailed the head of it all, Hill, but I don't remember what she told us to do. I just know the deadline is coming up pretty soon so I was trying to get everything cleared.

Proud to Present

The WHS Patriot Players are proud to present........................(drumrole)............Perry Rebecca Hill! She was born on Tuesday around 1230pm. Everyone is doing fine and I am very tired. She is BEAUTIFUL!!........and she looks like Carter.....therefore, she looks like me. I hope to be posting a pic within the next few days. Anyhoo, continue to work on your lines while I am on hiatus. I WILL BE EXPECTING A LOT OF CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT. ALL OF YOU, (EVEN abby) NEED TO GROW.

Theatre People

I could not help but ponder upon what the true definition of what "theatre people" is after tonight's rehearsal. I have been in this wonderful art form for twelve years and have been involved in over thirty some shows. Over these illustrious years I have worked with a lot of different players and techies. (Yes, techies are "theatre people, too) Many of these people I would love to see again and some, not so much. Anyhoo, the point I am trying to make is that these "people" have gained a reputation for being, (how can I say this), ok, WEIRD, STRANGE, CRAZY, CREATIVE, WACKY, CRACKED-OUT, IMMATURE (I love that one), and many other terms that really does not come close to what we really are.

WE ARE WHAT WE ARE!!

We are passionate, we are loud and outlandish, we are proud, we are committed, we are players, we are actors and technicians that feel an obligation to entertain; regardless if we are on stage or not. It could be in a parking lot, at a job, in a restaurant, in a classroom, riding in a car, in the park, at a party, even at Wal-Mart! And NO, "mallrats" are not theatre people!!

So, Sam, this show is the just the beginning of your artistic education. Not every actor has to be a "theatre person", but I hope this spreads a little light on this label. If you fit any of this definition that will only continue to grow; "WELCOME"!

You are doing fine, but it will get harder. Don't worry so much. There are no absolutes until opening night. Your fellow players are counting on you to be an asset in this production. Like Abby said, "Never second guess yourself." And like I have always said, "Hit it big, or miss it big."

"Big". Theatre people do everything BIG.

No Rehearsal on Sunday

Do to circumstances beyond my control, we will not have rehearsal on Sunday the 7th. However, I plan to block the entire show on next week some come ready to work. Continue to work on your accents! Watch English and German movies, hang out with German and English people, I really don't care, but, the show is about these characters and their relationships so your portrayal of them HAS to be spot on.

I need possible suggestions for someone to play the "Ratcatcher". Think about the criteria for casting. They need to be reliable and eager to work with us. If they can read and are not afraid to step out of their comfort zone I can work with them.
